Menu Timer

Eon installs a convenient timer into the menu bar - on the right. There are several things you can do with it right from the menu bar:

• You can toggle the timer by clicking on the play/pause button on the left side of the timer.
• Right-click the timer to edit time.
• Click on the timer display the menu timer popover.

Menu Timer Popover

The menu timer popover allows you to access a simplified UI of the main window. It lacks a few options, but has a few extras:

• Recent projects - click on the pop-up button to quickly switch to another project that you've worked on recently.
• The gear button contains various options about the app, including the Quit command.
• Project search field (see below).

Project Search Field

The menu timer popover includes a search field that allows you to quickly switch between projects without the need to navigate through the project pop-up button's menu hierarchy.

To use this field, start typing the project name and search results will be displayed. Navigate between the search results using the ⇡ ⇣ keys and confirm selection using the ↵ Return key.

If you have more projects with the same name in the hierarchy, you can include a hierarchy requirement using >. Example: you have projects "Secret" and "Public" and under both, you have a subproject called "Design". If you know you want the "Design" project that's under "Secret", search for "Secret > Design".

You can access this search field also via a global shortcut that you can set in Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts
