Preferences

Eon contains several options and settings that allow you to customize it to your needs. The Preferences window can be accessed from the menu bar by following Eon > Preferences…, or from the menu bar popover's gear button. It contains various sections that are described below in greater detail.

General

General preferences allow you to set your preferences about the general behavior of Eon:

• appearance of the timer
• behavior of posting time to your 3rd party service
• whether to show Eon icon in the Dock

Keyboard Shortcuts

You can set various global keyboard shortcuts using which you can:

• toggle the timer
• switch to a different project
• post time to your 3rd party service
• synchronize with your 3rd party service

In-App Purchases

Note: This is only if you are using Eon from the AppStore.

When you purchase Eon via the AppStore, it is a bit cheaper, but you need to purchase integration with 3rd party services as in-app purchases. Each integration is sold for $4.99 a piece (or an equivalent price on your AppStore), or you can purchase a bundle of all the almost 40 integrations for $14.99.

UctoX Integration

Eon integrates with our invoicing app called UctoX 2. This way you can track time and send it to UctoX 2, which will add this time to an invoice.

Advanced

Advanced preferences are fairly advanced - we recommend not to modify those unless you are absolutely certain that this is really what you want.
